FARGO, N.D. – A man accused of running over a motorcyclist in Fargo and then shooting at a State Trooper in July of 2022 has been found not guilty of attempted murder and 11 other charges.
A Cass County judge ruled Maichael Yousa was not guilty due to a lack of mental capacity.
After allegedly running over a motorcyclist, police say Yousa fired more than 30 shots from his apartment. He was also accused of exchanging gunfire with law enforcement.
Yousa has been committed to the state hospital and it will be determined in February how long he will spend there.
