(FARGO, ND) – Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney says the opportunity is present to consider activating the Fargo Civic Center.
On Wednesday, at the Fargo City Commission meeting, Mahoney will ask commissioners to direct city staff to draft a Request for Qualifications for the Fargo Civic Center.
Mahoney says he wants commissioners to provide their individual perspectives and ideas for the proposed RFQ, to be considered at a future meeting.
Mahoney said the process would govern the curation, promotion and management of events at the Civic Center, which has been utilized ‘in a limited capacity’ over the past several years.
