EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. – Democratic Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan is going to East Grand Forks Thursday for her kitchen table conversations tour as part of her Senate campaign.
Flanagan will hear concerns at the VFW at 2:45 PM.
She has done 13 of these conversation events including in Moorhead.
“I want to hear what challenges Minnesotans are facing, what changes they want made, and what brings them hope–I’ll tell you this, there’s still a lot of hope out there. I know Washington can work, it just needs more people who understand what folks are up against,” Flanagan said.
Former Minnesota Senate Minority Leader Melisa Lopez Franzen is also running for the Democratic nomination. Republicans running include former NBA player Royce White who lost to Senator Amy Klobuchar last year, former Navy SEAL Adam Schwarze and real estate agent Marisa Simonetti.
