RICE LAKE, MINN. – White Earth Tribal Police are investigating the death of an infant.
Authorities responded to a home in Rice Lake Wednesday to a call about an infant not breathing. Authorities say officers and EMS gave CPR to a one-and-a-half-month-old child, but they died. Police say mental health professionals were there to support the family.
The Minnesota Bureau of Investigation and the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office are assisting the investigation.
