Griggs Co. Sheriff & Chief Deputy make history

COOPERSTOWN, N.D. – One of North Dakota’s smallest sheriff’s offices is making history.

Griggs County Sheriff Amberly Michaelis and Chief Deputy Danielle Bjorlie are the first women duo to hold their respective positions in the state.

The veterans say they’re focused on keeping the community safe, and inspiring future leaders, while building strong relationships with local children.
