MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was introduced as Jim Gaffigan during the comedian’s stand up show at the Orpheum Theatre on Wednesday.
Gaffigan played Walz on Saturday Night Live when the governor was running for Vice President of the United States.
“I know what you’re thinking, he’s much more handsome in person,” Walz said on stage.
“Really enjoyed meeting him and his team. FYI I’ve never seen a politician greeted by his constituents the way Governor Walz was tonight,” Gaffigan said on Instagram.
