Gov. Tim Walz considering running for president

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz may not be giving up on his ambition to work at The White House.

He told The New Yorker Radio Hour he would consider running for president in 2028. A recent KSTP/Survey USA poll has Walz’s approval at 52 percent with 44 percent disapproval despite his failed Vice Presidential campaign.

Walz recently ruled out a run for the U.S. Senate seat that will be vacated in 2027 when Sen. Tina Smith retires. Walz has said he is considering running for a third term as governor. He says in The New Yorker interview he will make a decision by this summer.

Flag Family News has reached out to the Walz Campaign for comment, but we haven’t heard back.
