NORTH DAKOTA – Extreme cold is disrupting oil production in North Dakota.
The North Dakota Pipeline Authority says oil production was down by over 130,000 barrels per day as of Tuesday morning. That’s about 12 percent of the region’s daily oil output. Natural gas production was down by over 370 million cubic feet per day.
Director of the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources Nathan Anderson says the state produced 1.2 million gallons of oil per day in November.
