MINNESOTA – The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is letting visitors get into state parks for free on Black Friday.
Fees still apply for camping and boat rentals.
State Parks in our area include Buffalo River State Park outside of Glyndon, Maplewood State Park near Pelican Rapids, Glendalough State Park near Battle Lake, Lake Carlos State Park near Carlos, Itasca State Park near Park Rapids and Red River State Park near East Grand Forks.
The DNR sets aside four days every year when free admission is granted. The next free admission day is January 20th.
