Farm Rescue needs volunteers to bring hay to Western ND

UNITED STATES – Farm Rescue needs volunteers to take part in a hay hauling campaign to help farmers and ranchers in Western North Dakota devastated by wildfires.

“It’s a very specialized type of volunteerism. We’re looking for CDL drivers to do that. If that’s something you feel called to help us with, hop on FarmRescue.org and you can fill out our new volunteer form and let us know your talents and availability,” Farm Rescue Marketing Program Director Dan Erdmann said.

The Horace-based non-profit says the organization has already brought up to 3,000 bales of hay to Western North Dakota.

Farm Rescue has helped more than 1,100 farm families in nine states with harvesting, feeding livestock, haying, commodity and hay hauling since 2006. Their work is free and helped by tax deductible donations.
