Fargo Police investigating erroneous shelter-in-place alert sent outside of incident area

(FARGO, ND) — Multiple residents outside of the area of this morning’s incident in Fargo received a shelter-in-place alert erroneously.

“The Fargo Police Department is working with partner agencies to determine why there was issues with the alert that was intended for the 1800 block of 3rd and 4th Streets North,” a Fargo Police spokesperson said early Sunday afternoon.

The shelter in place alert was issued at approximately 7 a.m.
