Fargo Police identify Friday homicide victim

(FARGO) — Fargo Police have identified the victim of Friday’s homicide.

On Friday, at 1:16 p.m., Fargo Police officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of 12th Ave. S. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered one victim with serious injuries from a gunshot wound to the chest. The suspect(s) had fled the scene before officers arrived.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased.

Police have now identified the victim as 35-year-old Fargo resident Sampson Bleh.

After thoroughly investigating the scene and speaking with witnesses, Fargo Police officers believe the involved parties were known to each other.
