(MOORHEAD, MINN) – Muscatell Subaru has announced it has been acquired by the Corwin Automotive Group.
“Ward Muscatell Subaru, Muscatell Pre-Owned, and the Muscatell Collision Center will be changing ownership on Monday. The Corwin Automotive Group will be acquiring the Moorhead campus. Most of the staff will be staying in place and the transition is already under way,” the company posted on social media earlier this afternoon.
The store will be business as usual through Friday, Muscatell said. The service department, collision center, and parts department will be closed Saturday. The vehicle sales department will be open on Saturday as the final day under the Muscatell name.
“A lot of people helped make the Subaru store what it is today. When Ward acquired the Subaru franchise in 1996 he would never have imagined all of the wonderful relationships and growth we would experience. Our customers, employees, and vendor relationships have helped make the Subaru store into a very special place,” the Muscatell family wrote. “The FM community has supported us more than we could have ever asked for through the years. The entire Muscatell family just wants to say a huge Thank You to everyone that helped us in our 28 year journey to today.”
The Muscatell family will continue doing business at Muscatell-Burns Ford in Hawley, the company said.
