Construction project to begin on I-94

(FARGO, ND) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation is announcing the start of the I-94/Red River Structure Repair Project.

Work will include comprehensive structural repairs, an installation of bridge deck overlays and replacement of guardrails. The project will enhance traffic flow, improve safety measures and extend the bridge’s lifespan.

Traffic impacts are expected throughout the project, which is likely to finish up in October.

Beginning Monday, the right lane of I-94 westbound will be closed overnight, and the westbound entrance ramp from 8th Street in Moorhead will be reduced by one lane. The closures will be in place through May.
