GRAND FORKS, N.D. – An 18-year-old Grand Forks man has a change of plea hearing scheduled in the murder trial surrounding the death of 24 year old Anfernee Economy.
Cazmere Haskin’s hearing is scheduled for December 9.
He is accused of stabbing Economy at an apartment complex parking lot March 15 when he was 17. Police say a group of people got into a fight and Economy died of a stab wound to the heart.
Investigators say the fight was caught on video and shows Haskins holding a knife. Haskins faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
