The last living member of the founding committee for the Kringen Lodge Sons of Norway Fargo Carrol Juven has died at age 88 according to longtime friend Scott Hennen.
Juven, who was born in North Dakota, helped create the lodge to promote and preserve Norwegian culture.
The lodge just held its 50th anniversary banquet on March 28.
Juven owned and operated Juven Tours and Travel and guided nearly 200 trips to Norway over the last 60 years.
He was a guest on The Flag’s “What’s On Your Mind?” with Scott Hennen last week.
