Bill seeking to cap out-of-pocket costs for insulin, supplies heads to Armstrong

(BISMARCK, ND) – A bill that would seek to limit out-of-pocket costs for insulin and other related supplies is heading to Governor Kelly Armstrong.

House Bill 1114, if signed by Armstrong, limit those costs to $25 per month. The bill passed the Senate 39-7.

Senator Sean Cleary (R-Bismarck) says the pilot project, approved last legislation session, ‘showed clear results,’ thus the extension of the plan with the passage of the bill.
