Apartment fire leads to two Fargo Firefighter injuries

FARGO, ND — A Fargo apartment is heavily damaged after an early-morning structure fire today.

Crews were called to 509 29th Avenue North at approximately 6:15 a.m., finding smoke exiting a window on the ground floor of the structure. Most residents escaped by themselves, but some required assistance in order to leave the apartment. Two firefighters were injured by a dog in distress in the apartment building.
