Three juveniles hospitalized, one adult arrested, following overnight crash

HORACE, ND — Three people were hospitalized and another arrested following a vehicle crash in Horace late Thursday night.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 11 p.m. near the area of Cass County Road 17 and 6th Avenue North, when 18-year-old McKenzie Moser collided head-on with another vehicle, driven by an unidentified 16-year-old. Three people in the struck vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, with one being flown via life-flight. Moser was arrested at the scene for DUI and DUI refusal, and was subsequently taken to a Fargo hospital.

In addition to the Horace crash, authorities say Moser’s vehicle is involved in a previous Fargo hit-and-run crash. Both incidents remain under investigation by local authorities
