(Grand Forks, ND) — A man charged in connection with a shooting at a Grand Forks basketball court says he acted in self-defense.
Allen Little (24m) is accused of shooting another man on Saturday following an altercation. While Little says he did it to protect himself and his family members who were with him, police say he first pistol-whipped the man, went outside, and then returned and shot him. The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
Little faces charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
