(Fargo, ND) — North Dakota regulators are rejecting a request from Summit Carbon Solutions for a road permit for a controversial regional carbon-dioxide pipeline.
The pipeline would run through several North Dakota counties.
Friday’s unanimous decision by the three-member Public Service Commission involves Summit Carbon’s five-point-five-billion dollar Midwest Carbon Express project.
Company officials say they will go back to the drawing board to craft a new plan that will win the board’s approval.
