(Fargo, ND) — The North Dakota Renaissance Faire has announced its return to Fargo at an all-new location.
This year’s event will take place on the weekends of August 12th-13th, August 19th-20th, and August 26th-27th, 2023, at the new location, the North Dakota Horse Park.
The group tells WDAY Radio that they are the “Official North Dakota Renaissance Faire” event, and advise attendees to be aware of a competing event taking place in the community using our name. They say this has caused a significant amount of confusion, with their goal to simply bring the excitement of the Renaissance back to Fargo.
The North Dakota Renaissance Faire is an annual celebration of the Renaissance, featuring non- stop entertainment, Jousting Medieval Warfare, Live Entertainment throughout the day, foods inspired by the medieval era, artisan vendors, and much more. Attendees can expect to be transported back in time as they enter our custom Castle Gates.
“We are thrilled to be bringing the North Dakota Renaissance Faire back to Fargo at an all-new location,” said event organizer, Olissio Zoppe. “With the outpouring of gratitude from the Community of Fargo and beyond we’re thrilled this annual event has found its place. We are very excited for what we have in store for this 2023 edition including Cirque Ma’Ceo. The renowned Equestrian Show which will be taking center stage to amaze our guests with their breathtaking acrobatics, daring stunts, and incredible artistry.”
The North Dakota Horse Park offers a spacious and picturesque setting for the faire to spread out and present a Faire, as Zoppe put it, “unlike any you have witnessed”.
“We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who attends the faire,” added Zoppe. “We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the festivities.”
Tickets for the North Dakota Renaissance Faire are available for purchase online now and will be available at the gate from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day.
More information about the event, including the full schedule and list of performers, can be found on the faire’s website.
