West Fargo Schools go remote again in wake of lingering effects of winter storm

(West Fargo, ND) — After an announcement Wednesday night that Moorhead schools would begin with a two-hour delay, West Fargo Schools have now announced that the district is staying in remote learning Thursday.

This comes as closures to I-94 and I-29 were expected to remain in place until later on in the morning. As of 7 a.m. though, I-29 from the Canadian border to South Dakota had reopened, though no travel was still advised.

The decision comes as Fargo Schools is already on a remote learning schedule for the day, though other local city and county entities are opening back up after the winter storm here in the area earlier this week.
