311 test votes mistakenly used in Cass County election results

FARGO, N.D. – Cass County updates election results after it mistakenly included 311 ballots used in their public test in the official count of ballots.

County officials say no race outcomes were changed by the adjustment.

“Results from Cass County’s public test of tabulation equipment were mistakenly included in the upload of unofficial election night results,” said Cass County Finance Director Brandy Madrigga. “I’ve worked with the Secretary of State’s office to address and remove the test results so only those votes cast by Cass County voters are reflected.”

The Cass County Canvass Board will meet November 18 to certify election results.
