FARGO, N.D. – The City of Fargo announces Fire Chief Steve Dirksen will retire in July.
“The City congratulates Chief Dirksen on his upcoming retirement and years of public service to the citizens of Fargo. I look forward to discussing the vacancy and the process to recruit and name Fargo’s next Fire Chief with the City Commission in the future,” Fargo City Administrator Michael Redlinger said.
Dirksen became Fargo’s Fire Chief in 2011. He previously served on the Sioux Falls Fire Department.
