Edwards ejected in Wolves loss at Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) — The Minnesota Timberwolves nearly pulled off another miraculous comeback but ultimately lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 111-102 at Crypto.com Arena. The Wolves trailed by as many as 23 points in the second quarter, but they got within three in the fourth. However, Los Angeles pulled away at the end to put the game away.

Terrence Shannon Jr. had 25 points off the bench, while Anthony Edwards scored 18 before he was ejected. Jaden McDaniels chipped in 15 points and eight rebounds.

Minnesota is tied for eighth place in the Western Conference at 32-28. The Wolves visit the Jazz on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
