WEST FARGO, N.D. – A vehicle strikes a squad car during a late night chase in West Fargo.
Police say officers tried to stop a driver because of an open warrant and suspended license near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 5th Street East around 11:30 Monday. The vehicle fled and officers did a PIT maneuver near 1st Avenue and 7th Street East. The vehicle kept going and struck a squad car and parked vehicles on 10th Street East. No one was hurt.
Twenty-three-year-old Elijah Belgarde of Fargo was arrested on suspicion of fleeing, reckless endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant. A passenger was released without charges.
