(BISMARCK, ND) – The North Dakota Senate unanimously approved a bill that would, if passed by the House and signed by Governor Kelly Armstrong, rename Highway 200 and would honor fallen peace officers.
Senate Bill 2277 would rename the highway as the North Dakota fallen peace officer memorial highway. Under the measure, signs would be placed along the route, which goes from the Minnesota border to the Montana border, to signify the designation.
The bill now will go to the North Dakota House.
