(GRAND FORKS, ND) – Grand Forks School Board members will hear an update on the new high school attendance policy being implemented by its two high schools, Grand Forks Central and Grand Forks Red River.
School officials say the new tiered intervention system has helped curb absences.
According to data the board will review, attendance rates at Grand Forks Central have increased more than seven percent in 2024-25 compared to 2023-24, while attendance has increased more than three percent at Grand Forks Red River during the same time period.
