(La Quinta, CA) — Sepp Straka is celebrating his third career Tour victory after winning the American Express at La Quinta Country Club. Straka finished atop the leaderboard at 25 under par to win the tournament by two strokes.
Justin Thomas climbed five spots in the final round after shooting a six under 66. Thomas finished in second place at 23 under par. Jason Day and Justin Lower tied for third at 22 under. Patrick Cantlay and Charley Hoffman finished tied for fifth at 20 under par. Defending champion Nick Dunlap was tied for 34th at 13 under.
Tom Hoge finished tied for 29th at 14 under par.
The Tour will now head to Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California on Thursday for the Farmers Insurance Open.
