VERY windy conditions have moved into the F/M area with wind gusts of 58 to 67 mph causing blowing and drifting of the snow with reduced visibility!! Travel NOT advised in the NE corner of the state with I29 closed in the northern part of the state. Winds will remain STRONG (Gusts over 50mph) through 6pm before winds relax a touch overnight (20-30mph)

Blowing snow and reduced visibilities will continue with near blizzard conditions over much of the area at times through evening hours. Cold weather Advisories issued for tonight with Cold air warnings issued for Sat. night into Sunday. IF you travel make sure you have your winter weather survival kits in your vehicle and make sure your headlights are ON.
