(BISMARCK, ND) – WDAY/WZFG Radio News has confirmed via sources within North Dakota higher education and close to former Lieutenant Governor Brent Sanford that he will be named the interim President at Bismarck State College.
The North Dakota State Board of Higher Education is set to meet in special session tomorrow to consider an appointment of an interim president at the college. Former President Doug Jensen parted ways with the State Board in late 2024.
Sanford served as Lieutenant Governor under former Governor Doug Burgum from 2016 until resigning in 2023.
