(WATFORD CITY, ND) – First International Bank and Trust is set to welcome a new leader.
The family-owned organization will welcome Peter Stenehjem as its new Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2025. The move will welcome the fourth generation of the Stenehjem family to a leadership position with the bank.
Steve Stenehjem has served as the bank’s Chief Executive Officer for 34 years and will continue as Chairman of its Board after stepping down as CEO.
“It’s a landmark moment for our organization, as we celebrate Steve’s remarkable tenure as CEO and look ahead to the next generation of Stenehjem family leadership with optimism and confidence,” the Bank said in a social media post Thursday afternoon.
