Wild fall late against Golden Knights

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild surrendered a late goal during a 3-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights at the Xcel Energy Center.

Kirill Kaprizov scored at the end of the second period to tie the game at two, but Victor Olofsson knocked in the game-winner in the fourth minute of the third period. Kaprizov had two goals in the losing effort. Minnesota is in second place in the Central Division with 44 points and a 20-7-4 record.

The Wild host the Panthers on Wednesday.
