The Minnesota Wild gave up five unanswered goals, falling to the Edmonton Oilers 7-1 on Thursday night.
Frederick Gaudreau scored Minnesota’s only goal. Filip Gustavsson only saved 21 of the 26 shots he faced in the first two periods. Marc Andre-Fleury saved seven of the nine shots he fielded in relief of Gustavsson in the third period.
The Wild fell to 19-6-4 on the season while the Oilers rose to 17-10-2 on the season. Minnesota will host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday at 1 p.m.
