Plea changed to guilty in Grand Forks stabbing death

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – An 18-year-old Grand Forks man pleads guilty to murder.

Cazmere Haskins originally pleaded not guilty to killing 24-year-old Anfernee Economy. He changed his plea to guilty on Monday.

Haskins stabbed Economy at an apartment complex parking lot March 15 when he was 17. Police say a group of people got into a fight and Economy died of a stab wound to the heart.

The fight was caught on video and shows Haskins holding a knife.

Haskins faces life in prison without the possibility of parole at sentencing on March 7.
