MINNESOTA – Minnesota rideshare drivers will make more money next month.
A law sets the minimum pay for drivers at $1.28 per mile and $0.31 a minute beginning Sunday.
Former rideshare drivers have been working closely with the Minnesota Uber/Lyft Drivers Association over the last few weeks. They want to get their old accounts reactivated so they can take advantage of the new pay rates.
Both companies threatened to leave the state because of the new minimums but have not announced plans to stop operations.
