(FARGO, ND) – Fargo City Commissioner John Strand says a group of citizens is looking to place a question on the next city election to change the governance structure of the city.
The current city governance structure is a commission style. The group is looking to change to a Council form of government.
City Commissioner John Strand is asking the commission to have City Attorney Nancy Morris consult with the citizen group in developing language and provide them guidance on the process of presenting the ballot language to the public.
The City Council form of government would include a City Manager.
