GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The City of Grand Forks is interviewing for its new Chief of Police this week.
Candidates from Grand Forks Police are Deputy Chief William Macki and Lieutenants Derik Zimmel and Jeremy Moe. Other candidates are Patrol Commander for the University of North Dakota Police Department Daniel Weigel and Madison, Wisconsin Police Captain and SWAT Commander Jason Freedman.
The city hopes to have a new chief in place by the end of the year.
