No charges filed in Norman County hunting accident

(PERLEY, MINN) – The Norman County Sheriff’s Office says no charges have been filed in a hunting accident last weekend near Perley.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Timothy Rousar, of Fargo, was shot in the face by another individual in the victim’s hunting party. He was struck on the left side of the face by a 12-gauge slug, which remains lodged in Rousar’s sinus cavity.

The incident was determined to be accidental.

Rousar has since been released from a Fargo hospital.
