Woman agrees to plea deal in injury crash of horse-drawn buggy

PRESTON, MN — A woman involved in a February crash with a horse-drawn buggy in southeastern Minnesota has agreed to a plea deal.

Thirty-three-year-old Brittany Edgar of Kasson pled guilty to criminal vehicular operation in exchange for having all other charges against her dropped. Edgar was driving a vehicle that struck a buggy near Spring Valley, injuring six people, including two children.

Edgar be sentenced next month.
