Impact Fargo event helps high schoolers bring their concerns to the City Commission

FARGO, N.D. – Chair of the Fargo Youth Initiative Kenzi Olson wants high schoolers to take part in an event to create ideas to bring to the City Commission.

Fargo Youth Initiative’s Impact Fargo Event next Tuesday will bring Fargo high schoolers together to get questions ready to bring to the City Commission through breakout sessions. Registration is due by Friday. Information can be found by clicking here.

“Their main mission is to get youth to stay in Fargo and they want to know how to better do that. This event is a great way to get youth to speak up and speak out,” Kenzi Olson said.

The organization has taken part in community events like Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to share the message of inclusion. The group has also brought information to the commission about youth homelessness.
