Alleged drunk woman accused of running over man with kids in the vehicle

NORTH DAKOTA – A Tokio, North Dakota woman is indicted by a federal grand jury for involuntary manslaughter and child neglect in Indian Country.

Court documents say law enforcement responded to a home in Fort Totten in August where a man was found dead after being run over by a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Tierra Scott who was drunk. Officials say she also had an unspecified controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Prosecutors say Scott was driving recklessly with three children in the vehicle.

Scott’s next court appearance is scheduled for December.
