Power outages across Southeastern U.S. continue after Hurricane activity

WDAY RADIO — The power is still out for hundreds of thousands in the Southeast.

As of Sunday night, customers in parts of Florida were without electricity after hurricanes Milton and Helene blew through. Duke Energy says most customers should have their power back by Wednesday.

Meanwhile in North Carolina, crews are still working to restore power to some areas devastated by Helene after the storm initially left over a million customers in the dark.
