After a record warm and dry September, another record may fall this week. The record high this Thursday 10/10/24 is 86 degrees for Fargo set back in 2003. I am currently forecasting a high near 86 degrees. Some upper-level haze may prevent us from getting there but it will be close. After record flirting warmth on Thursday, we will cool down for Friday behind a cold front back into the 60s and 50s 40s for a couple of days. Patchy frost and freezing conditions will return to the forecast for morning lows by the end of the weekend into the beginning of next week.
