Senator Kevin Cramer and challenger Katrina Christiansen face off in contentious debate

FARGO, ND — It was a night of disagreement as the candidates for U.S. Senate squared off in a debate hosted by Prairie Public T.V.
Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) and Democratic candidate Katrina Christiansen (D-ND) disagreed on nearly everything, especially immigration. Christiansen said that she supported the bipartisan border bill which failed to pass the House and Senate. Cramer said the immigration bill she would vote for establishes more sanctuary cities.
Other topics discussed in the debate include the state’s near total ban on abortion being overturned by a judge, The national farm bill failing to pass during the legislative session, plans for social security, opinions on foreign conflicts, and more.
