ND News Cooperative poll shows Republican candidates lead state elections

BISMARCK, ND — A new poll shows Republican candidates sweeping in North Dakota this November.

A poll commissioned by the North Dakota News Cooperative shows Senate candidate Kevin Cramer, Governor candidate Kelly Armstrong and House candidate Julie Fedorchak all holding a solid lead over their Democratic opponents in the upcoming elections. It also shows a large number of undecided voters, however, who could swing all three races if they decide to vote Democrat.

The Democratic NPL refutes the findings of the poll presented by the North Dakota News Cooperative, saying their own numbers dispute the agency.

“From the beginning of this campaign, we have relied on a highly reputable pollster. We trust our own numbers, and we will see whose numbers are right on Election Day,” said Kerry Billings, a spokesperson with the DEM NPL in a statement refuting the listed poll numbers. “We know the North Dakota News Coop is trying to be unbiased. But with this poll, they fell short. They relied on a pollster who boasts about having Republican clients like Ted Cruz on their website.” Billings continued.
