9:36 p.m. UPDATE: Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says units are beginning to clear the scene of a fire in Hawley earlier this evening. He said a few crews will remain on scene for some time.
Fire departments from across the area responded to the blaze at around 5:20 p.m.
ORIGINAL STORY: HAWLEY, MN — Several agencies are responding to a building fire in Hawley.
The Red River Regional Dispatch Center confirmed the fire occurring in the 6100 block of 170th Street North, which is near the Terracon building in Hawley. Authorities say the fire began at approximately 5:20 p.m.
Crews from Dilworth, Moorhead, Barnesville, and several other municipalities are moving to respond to the blaze, according to dispatch logs.
