(BISMARCK) – The Bismarck Riverfront Park and Festival Grounds will have some much-needed infrastructure projects coming its way, thanks to the U.S. Department of Commerce. Senator Kevin Cramer’s office announced Monday afternoon that the Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration awarded nearly $4 million to the Northern Plains Heritage Foundation to support infrastructure improvements to the park and grounds. The award will be matched by more than $1 million in local funds, and will create more than 200 jobs and generate $80 million in private investments in the capital city.
