Hot start powers Vikings past Packers

The Minnesota Vikings survived a ferocious comeback by the Green Bay Packers in a 31-29 victory at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.

The Vikings were up 28-0 in the second quarter. Green Bay outscored Minnesota 22-3 in the fourth quarter.

Sam Darnold completed 20 passes for 275 yards with three touchdowns and one interceptions. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Josh Oliver all caught a touchdown. Additionally, Addison had one seven yard touchdown run. Aaron Jones totaled 22 carries for 93 yards.

Blake Cashman led the defense with 11 tackles. Byron Murphy, Shaquill Griffin, and Kamu Grugier-Hill all picked up an interception.

The 4-0 Vikings will now head to London on Sunday, October 6 to battle the 2-2 New York Jets. Kickoff will be scheduled for 8:30 a.m. with game coverage available on NFL Network.
